About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform general ledger operations for Biogen’s Affiliates, including cash and treasury reconciliations and accounts receivable transactions
Manage fixed asset activity, payroll, prepayments, and accruals
Record revenue and expenses
Calculate and post journal entries
Report PnL, BS, and other schedules accurately and timely
Run PA reports and prepare VAT data and CIT templates
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
Conduct monthly and quarterly analyses
Collaborate with consultants on statutory financial statement preparations
Provide data and explanations for internal and external audit inquiries

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in Finance, preferably in Accountancy
Additional accounting qualifications; ACCA/CIMA exams and National Association of Accountants preferred
3+ years of experience in international accounting
Experience working for SSC/BPO
Good understanding of AP/AR/CM/FA processes
Proficient knowledge of Oracle R12
Good knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook and Excel
Experience in Continuous Improvement
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English
Work permit and residency in Poland required
