About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Neuropsychiatry/Women’s Health franchise by defining and evaluating brand performance
- Enable data-driven decisions and deliver actionable insights
- Lead insights and analytics activities, including primary marketing research, secondary analytics, forecasting guidance, and competitive intelligence
- Partner with commercial and marketing leadership to identify and address key business problems
- Partner with North America Leadership, Heads of Marketing, IT, and other functional leaders to understand insight needs and data usage
- Lead development of performance narratives and insights supporting US brand/franchise strategy
- Lead and manage relationships with the Franchise Leadership Team
- Scope, lead, and deliver cross-functional projects across market research, forecasting support, competitive intelligence, brand analytics, and field analytics
- Deliver ad hoc analyses and recommendations to leadership
- Provide actionable insights for resource allocation and long-term strategy development
- Collaborate with Advanced Analytics and Orchestration and BIO teams to guide brand strategy and execution
- Lead Integrated Customer Plan and Annual Operating Plan for CD&I
- Provide performance, target audience, and market insights for commercial strategy and resource investment
- Build consensus across Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Medical, and other cross-functional teams
- Manage insights spend within budget and pursue novel research methodologies
- Ensure key business decisions are based on data/fact-based analysis
- Drive innovation in analytics and business execution to improve business performance and investment strategy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 12+ years relevant experience with a life sciences company or consulting firm supporting the healthcare industry
- Consulting background strongly preferred
- Neuropsychiatry/Women’s Health experience preferred
- Solid understanding of commercial business and industry standard datasets – script (IQVIA, Symphony, etc.), Patient (Specialty Pharmacies/Distributors), and Managed Care (Symphony, etc.)
- High comfort sourcing, manipulating, analyzing and visualizing data
- Ability to effectively present and defend analyses
- Strong ability to use data and research to diagnose issues and test hypotheses for the commercial team
- High proficiency with gathering and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative inputs into actionable insights
- Ability to independently design or identify approaches to complex business questions using internal and external data sources
- Ability to communicate recommendations succinctly in verbal and written communications
- Ability to deliver and defend analyses and recommendations to senior management
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners
- Ability to manage workload with limited guidance and prioritize work independently
