About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Sell Biogen Neurology products to key stakeholders in the Multiple Sclerosis community, including Neurologists, allied health professionals, and local MS chapters
  • Develop and execute sales plans for the assigned territory
  • Convey complex clinical and reimbursement information to customers and key stakeholders regarding Biogen products
  • Use interpersonal skills and directed probing to uncover and address customers' educational needs
  • Work closely with cross-functional peers to ensure customers are appropriately educated about available Biogen support services
  • Travel within the territory, including possible overnight travel

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS/BA preferred; MBA a plus
  • 3-5+ years of pharma, specialty, hospital, and/or biotech sales required
  • Breadth of experiences across pharma, specialty, hospital, and/or biotech sales highly desirable
  • Proven track record of success, including consistent high ranking (Top 30%) over 3+ years and/or achievement awards
  • Proven ability to drive results in a challenging and ambiguous market
  • Launch, business development, and co-promotion experiences are an advantage
  • Tenacious and motivated outside-the-box thinker who excels in a collaborative team setting
  • Customer and patient focused; able to uncover obstacles and strategically drive for results with limited direction and in ambiguity
  • Must have the desire and capabilities to help achieve new levels of success
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record according to Biogen policy
  • Must live within the assigned territory and be willing to travel overnight up to 20%
