About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive sales in the Northeast regions
- Report to the President/Owner and eventually to the Sr. Sales Manager
- Oversee sales channel partners and own the assigned region
- Deliver the BW Signature Experience to customers and prospects
- Lead new business development and pursue new revenue streams, untapped markets, and enhanced capabilities
- Foster new customer relationships to support regional expansion
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive regional TAC (Target Account Conversion) plan
- Visit current and target customers regularly
- Perform professional sales calls across the territory
- Sell the company’s value proposition over price, particularly for harsh and extreme environments
- Attend industry conferences and regional gatherings
- Lead product and application training at OEM, ASP, and key distributor locations
- Represent BW as a trusted resource that strengthens customer relationships and builds advocacy and sustainable business levels
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS/BA degree preferred
- 5-8 years of experience in technical/complex selling of automation and motion control products to industrial OEM, end user and distributor accounts
- Effective at setting, evaluating, and executing individual and regional goals aligned with the company’s culture and core values
- Responsible for performance of Manufacturing Reps assigned to territory
- Ability to lead product and application training at OEM, ASP, and key distributor locations
- Ability to sell added-value solutions by leveraging differentiation and creating a competitive advantage
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective use of CRM system, dashboards, and MS Office
- Strong critical thinking and listening skills
- Strong desire to produce exceptional results and build customer advocacy
- Applicants must be able to work in the US without sponsorship
