About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Become an expert and authority on Bitwarden’s browser extension autofill and form change detection
  • Develop and maintain a full suite of browser UI automation tests
  • Improve the autofill and form detection experience as new UI patterns emerge
  • Participate in code reviews, learning, and spreading technical knowledge
  • Occasionally contribute bug fixes submitted by the user community
  • Progress through introductory, recruiting manager, hiring manager, team member, and reference-call interview stages

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Based in North America
  • No visa sponsorship is offered
  • Deep understanding of browser UI behavior, including DOM manipulation and content scripts
  • Proficiency in vanilla JavaScript and a modern framework such as Angular, React, or Vue
  • Understanding of browser extension development
  • Experience documenting complex technical solutions and conveying knowledge to Engineering team members
  • Proficiency with source control such as Git, SVN, Subversion, or TFS
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
