About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain Tricentis automated tests
- Integrate Tricentis capabilities into DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines supporting mission-critical DCSA application development and pilots
- Build modular, reusable, scalable Tosca tests across UI, API, Mobile, Vision AI, and packaged applications such as SAP
- Apply Model Based Test Automation, Test Case Design, and Test Data Management
- Design end-to-end business process flows and risk-based test suites
- Configure and operate Elastic Execution Grid for parallel, scalable execution
- Embed test triggers in Jenkins or Azure DevOps and orchestrate execution with qTest Launch
- Run automated test suites, analyze results, debug failures, and identify root causes
- Log defects in qTest or Jira and maintain traceability between requirements, test assets, and execution results
- Maintain qTest Manager/Insights traceability and publish audit-ready reports and dashboards
- Design and execute NeoLoad performance tests for APIs, microservices, and user journeys
- Use LiveCompare to focus testing on change-impacted, high-risk areas
- Convert user stories into executable Tricentis scenarios and collaborate with developers
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, and pipeline readiness activities
- Continuously improve Tosca architecture, Test Data Management strategies, EEG utilization, automation components, standards, and maintainability
- Support regression readiness assessments and recommend coverage, stability, and execution-efficiency improvements
- Work under the direction of the Senior Test Lead
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–8+ years in software testing and test automation
- Bachelor’s in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered
- Practical familiarity with qTest Manager/Insights and NeoLoad
- Experience integrating Tricentis into CI/CD/DevSecOps environments
- Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca (AS1/AS2, AE1/AE2, or equivalent)
- Experience with UI, API, and data validation
- Strong collaboration across developers, testers, schedulers, and DevSecOps engineers
- Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship
- Preferred: Breadth across Tricentis modules including Elastic Execution Grid, qTest Launch, NeoLoad, LiveCompare, Vision AI, and Mobile Engine 3.0
- Preferred: Tricentis Tosca certifications (AS1/AS2 or higher)
- Preferred: Experience with Tosca DEX, TestCase Design, Test Data Management, and Test Events
- Preferred: Experience testing federal or DoD applications, preferably with DCSA programs
- Preferred: Experience with Jira, GitLab, GitHub, ServiceNow, SonarQube, or WalkMe
- Preferred: Experience implementing automation in cloud environments
