About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Report directly to the Sr Director of Perishables
Oversee and drive execution and operational excellence across a network of clubs
Maintain financial accountability for overseen clubs
Execute merchandising priorities, displays, sales initiatives, and product flows across club locations
Maintain standards in quality, ordering, training, and production
Identify improvement opportunities and implement merchandising strategies for chain-wide consistency
Analyze sales, profitability, merchandising, and operational-efficiency data
Generate actionable insights, identify trends, and address improvement opportunities
Collaborate with clubs, regional teams, Merchandising, CSC, Club Operations, and DC Operations
Develop Club Manager, Fresh Manager, and Meat Manager skills
Drive training programs and support succession planning
Participate in new club openings and transfer perishable-area knowledge to club team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

5 years of experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or a related field
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and technologies
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in BJ's IS, Microsoft Word, and Excel
Previous experience in perishable goods merchandising and operations is advantageous
