About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the central interface between business departments and external SAP consultants
- Translate business requirements into suitable system solutions
- Manage and maintain the SAP S/4HANA system landscape for Finance, Logistics, Procurement, and Supply Chain
- Continuously improve business processes and optimize the system
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Finance, Logistics, Procurement, Supply Chain, and external SAP consulting partners
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system enhancements
- Ensure stable and efficient system operations
- Coordinate and manage change requests, system optimizations, and minor configuration adjustments
- Create and maintain documentation covering system configurations, business processes, test results, and customizations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree in Business Information Systems, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
- 3–4 years of hands-on SAP experience in a deep-tech or similarly complex operational environment
- Confident working with newly implemented or evolving SAP S/4HANA system landscapes
- In-depth understanding of business processes in the FI/CO, MM, and SD modules
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its application across end-to-end business processes
- Experience collaborating with external SAP consulting partners and cross-functional Business Operations teams
- Experience in requirements gathering, testing, and change management
- Experience with tools such as SAP Cloud ALM is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
