About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the Global HR Operations team of seven employees
- Identify global compliance gaps and develop roadmaps to close them
- Manage existing and develop new global company policies
- Partner with regional HR Business Partners to maintain regional policies and procedures
- Partner with Legal on special projects and compliance-related topics
- Own all HR internal controls and coordinate with internal and external auditors on audit documentation
- Serve as subject matter expert for Global HRIS employee lifecycle workflows
- Train global HR Business Partners and users on processes, procedures, and new functionality
- Ensure compliance of HR practices, policies, processes, and procedures
- Manage onboarding and offboarding compliance for U.S. employees, including unemployment claim responses
- Partner with HR Technology on system configuration, process reengineering, and data governance
- Develop and monitor a global data audit strategy
- Manage and escalate HR system and data issues with HR Technology partners
- Support Talent Management special projects and initiatives
- Collaborate with regional teams to ensure global process consistency
- Manage the U.S. Immigration caseload
- Design the U.S. Immigration program and consult with managers on immigration laws and best practices
- Partner with Managers and Finance on program funding
- Act as program owner and main point of contact with the immigration law firm
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Business-related degree required
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience managing a Human Resources team and/or progressive experience as HR Generalist/Business Partner managing a client group with HR operations experience
- HRIS experience required
- Knowledge of Federal, State and local employment laws and regulations
- Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to analyze complex information and define and solve problems
- Experience developing processes, procedures, and policies to reinforce U.S. employment laws
- Strong written and oral communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines
- Ability to build and maintain process documentation, tools, and tracking
- Ability to collaborate with teams in different regions and understand regional needs and nuances
- Ability to work with data analytics and make decisions on process and system changes
- HRIS experience; SAP and iCIMS experience a plus
- Successful completion of a background check
- Experience implementing and utilizing AI tools to enhance work, improve processes, or deliver measurable results
- Regular availability during Pacific Time business hours
