About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the Philippines business and revenue across incident response service lines, including retainers, on-demand response, and subscription offerings
- Set territory targets with the Managing Director, South East Asia and C-Suite team
- Build and own the Philippines market strategy and territory prioritisation
- Maintain forecast accuracy, pipeline integrity, CRM hygiene, and stage discipline with Revenue Operations
- Report defensible business metrics for Series B funding and investor diligence
- Plan market headcount and commercial investment within budget and authority levels
- Personally lead and close strategic enterprise and complex opportunities as a player-coach
- Build, coach, and hold accountable a local sales team
- Own executive relationships with CISOs, CIOs, Heads of IT, General Counsel, CFOs, and Boards
- Drive Blackpanda's A2I proposition in-market
- Establish a repeatable sales motion and enforce commercial standards, pricing discipline, and approval workflows
- Own and grow Philippines channel and alliance relationships
- Identify, negotiate, and onboard local channel partners, MSSPs, resellers, and professional services firms
- Build relationships across the local insurance and broker ecosystem
- Manage partner-led revenue performance, joint pipeline, enablement, co-marketing, and commercial terms
- Represent Blackpanda with regulators, industry bodies, law-enforcement liaison channels, and cyber ecosystem stakeholders
- Lead the Philippines market in a matrix organization across sales, marketing, customer success, and response functions
- Influence hiring plans, define roles, assess candidates, and build a scalable talent pipeline
- Directly influence local demand generation, brand presence, events, and thought leadership
- Coach first-line managers and emerging leaders
- Set Blackpanda's external brand and core-values standard in-market
- Act as senior in-market escalation point during live incidents
- Partner with response leadership to ensure local response capacity, SLA commitments, and readiness
- Ensure clean handoffs from sale through provisioning, delivery, and renewal
- Own renewal and expansion outcomes alongside Customer Success
- Feed market intelligence, client requirements, and competitive dynamics into regional offering decisions
- Serve as senior in-market executive for Philippines operations
- Work with Finance, Legal, and external advisors on statutory, employment, tax, and regulatory obligations
- Ensure commercial governance, data handling, confidentiality, and information-security compliance
- Manage local vendors, premises, and operational infrastructure
- Support Series B diligence, audits, and market-specific licensing or accreditation requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- 12+ years' professional experience
- 5+ years in country management, general management, or senior revenue leadership with full revenue ownership in the Philippines
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling a business in the Philippines, including hiring, developing, and retaining a local commercial team
- Track record of consistently delivering and exceeding revenue targets in enterprise and SME B2B services, cybersecurity, professional services, or enterprise technology
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity buyer behaviour and the incident response, DFIR, or managed security landscape
- Direct incident response or DFIR experience strongly preferred
- Proven success building and monetising channel, OEM, or MSSP-led routes to market in the Philippines
- Experience in a high-growth, dynamic, pre-Series B environment
- Executive presence and credibility with C-level, Board, and regulator audiences, including during live crisis situations
- Commercial rigor and data literacy, including forecast ownership and pipeline-data analysis
- Existing senior-level network across the Philippines enterprise, security, legal, and conglomerate business ecosystems is a significant advantage
- Understanding of the cyber insurance industry is a significant advantage
- Fluent spoken and written English and Tagalog required
- Additional Asian language skills advantageous but not required
- Based in Metro Manila
- Willingness to travel across the country and to regional Blackpanda offices as required
- Successful interview candidates may be required to complete a practical Case Study
