About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Influence others through explanation of facts, policies, and practices related to Blattner Company’s portfolio of business systems
- Manage recurring system-related tasks, complex analysis, design, configuration, testing, and implementation of solutions
- Support Products and Processes in a shared services model using an Agile methodology
- Write technical stories for business areas and applications while working closely with the business
- Initiate and support business process improvements, efficiencies, and LEAN initiatives
- Use business systems to eliminate administrative tasks, improve functionality, empower employees, and maximize system utilization
- Research and resolve business system problems, unexpected results, and process flaws
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or other related field, or combinations of related job experience and/or education training required
- Two or more years of progressive Business System Analysis experience required
- Knowledge of/experience working with the JD Edwards application preferred
- Ability to translate business discussions and processes into clear, concise, specific technical requirements and deliverables
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Valid, independent U.S. work authorization required; Blattner cannot sponsor H-1B visas or permanent residency
