About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Enforce consistent, high-quality execution of the Company’s Quality Program across all assigned construction sites
- Ensure work installation aligns with contract requirements, design specifications, company standards, and applicable codes
- Conduct regular site visits, quality audits, and inspections
- Verify compliance with Standard Work Instructions, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality control procedures, and project specifications
- Apply knowledge of installation methods to verify proper workmanship and installation technique
- Escalate unresolved or recurring quality issues to project and Quality leadership
- Monitor Quality performance and KPIs, identify negative trends, and drive proactive intervention
- Lead or support structured root cause analysis for nonconformities
- Ensure effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented and verified
- Partner with General Superintendents to enforce quality standards, improve quality results, and build site leadership capability
- Travel to project sites to assess installation workmanship and provide hands-on Quality coaching to project site leaders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be able to travel 75% with the expectation of working remotely about 1 week per month
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, quality management, or related degree; or equivalent combination of related education and experience required
- 8 or more years of leadership experience in utility-scale energy construction
- Experience demonstrating a proven, personal commitment to quality execution in the field, gained through direct supervision of work installation
- 3 or more years of experience in quality program execution required
- Experience with Procore
- Coursework or certifications related to solar energy systems or renewable energy construction is preferred
- Exposure to innovative quality-inspection technologies
