About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Champion the Blattner safety culture and Blattner Safety Program.
- Serve as a health, safety, and environmental (HSE) expert and consultant to project site teams.
- Communicate with client HSE professionals on overall Blattner HSE performance.
- Assess and coach project leaders toward building a stronger safety culture using data and Blattner examples.
- Assess Blattner safety culture and verify HSE Programs are followed, enforced, and consistent on projects.
- Identify gaps in work plans regarding safety and ensure necessary changes occur.
- Work with Operations, Learning and Development, the Lean Advantage Team, and the Quality Department to develop safe work plans and processes.
- Partner with site management on technical training and development of leadership personnel in safety.
- Communicate and advise site leadership and client HSE professionals on current and potential jobsite exposures.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A four-year degree in occupational safety, or related field or equivalent education and experience.
- Seven (7) years of experience in a construction safety leadership role or operations.
- Electrical safety knowledge and renewable energy experience preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
