About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and implement high-availability IT systems for field and office environments, including networking, cloud integration, and edge computing.
  • Lead incident response and root cause analysis (RCA) for IT outages affecting operations.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and observability tools to ensure uptime and performance of critical systems, including ERP, project management, and GIS.
  • Collaborate with construction, engineering, and field teams to align IT reliability with project timelines and safety standards.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and recovery using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Software Engineering or related field; or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
  • 5 or more years of hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure, site reliability or DevOps roles.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / DevOps Engineer or ITIL Foundation or SRE Practitioner preferred.
  • Proficiency in monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace), scripting, and automation.
  • Experience supporting construction or industrial field operations is highly preferred.
