About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, develop, integrate, and implement the overall virtual event strategy to support revenue growth and increased penetration
- Align virtual event initiatives with business objectives, optimize engagement, and ensure successful execution with product marketing, sales, and go-to-market teams
- Establish virtual event program objectives within budget and report campaign/program success to business stakeholders
- Develop and manage a strategic virtual event calendar aligned with business goals and resource allocation
- Partner with Demand Generation to execute digital campaigns, lead nurturing, and audience engagement initiatives
- Enhance content, MCLs, and MQLs from virtual experiences with content/news and demand generation teams
- Oversee virtual event production, including technical, logistical, and operational components
- Track, analyze, and report virtual event performance; adjust strategy and tactics to optimize effectiveness and ROI
- Manage the content strategy manager for virtual and in-person events, including speaker selection and program development
- Collaborate with Go to Market and sales teams to secure the right audience and facilitate post-event follow-ups
- Develop pre-event and post-event strategies to maximize registration, attendance, and engagement
- Implement industry-leading best practices and deliver above-average results in virtual event execution
- Lead and plan webinar content and strategy with subject matter experts and the business
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in marketing, or equivalent experience; graduate degree a plus
- 7+ years of experience in B2B event content development or marketing, preferably in information services or technology
- 5+ years of people leadership experience
- Success in B2B marketing with knowledge of digital and traditional marketing channels
- Skills and experience across email, online marketing, events/tradeshows, social media, and other channels
- Proficiency using MarTech tools for reporting, data analysis, and data-driven decision-making
- Budget management experience
- Ability to travel 10%
