About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the Developer Experience team owning the paved road and internal developer platform
- Own the DevEx roadmap and internal developer platform as a product
- Lead the DevEx AI roadmap and drive AI enablement across Product & Technology
- Lead adoption of agentic tooling across the organization
- Raise standards for CI/CD, test tooling and operational health using SLOs and DORA metrics
- Own production incidents crossing domain boundaries
- Line-manage and develop engineers across Platform and Quality Engineering
- Coach other managers and shape DevEx recruitment
- Partner with the Lead DevSecOps Engineer
- Manage infrastructure costs and supplier relationships across AWS, GCP and tooling vendors
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrable experience leading a platform, DevEx or infrastructure team
- Strong AWS knowledge, including ECS Fargate, S3, RDS, Lambda, EventBridge/SNS/SQS
- Hands-on Terraform experience
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, Terraform Cloud and Cloudflare
- Comfortable using observability tools to pinpoint performance and reliability issues
- Experience with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor
- Ability to translate AI enablement into a data-grounded roadmap for senior stakeholders
- Track record of developing engineers at all levels and coaching other managers
- Comfortable taking on work spanning multiple domains
- Willingness to work with senior leadership and pair with engineers on complex platform problems
