About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform proactive sales calls, meetings, and sales campaigns to promote Blue Owl product offerings to existing and new private wealth investors
- Raise and retain assets under management within a geographic territory through proactive phone calls and one-on-one and group appointments
- Develop and implement a business plan and sales strategy
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of market, advisor, and investor trends
- Lead and actively support efforts of other Market Team members, including Hybrid, Internal, and Sales Service teams
- Drive Private Wealth capital-raising and ongoing client relationship efforts across the Northeast market
- Engage in the full lifecycle of client relationship activities, from initial prospecting to onboarding new relationships and maintaining current and new client relationships
- Create awareness, develop relationships, and raise assets across Blue Owl’s full suite of investment products
Requirements
What you’ll need- FINRA Series 7, 63 or 66
- Clean U4
- 10+ years of total experience
- Strong and demonstrated experience raising capital from financial advisors within National broker dealers/wirehouses
- Product experience in alternatives and private market strategies
- Knowledge of regulatory environments across the US
- Ability to navigate US jurisdictions from a sales and regulatory perspective
- Ability to work with a dynamic, continually growing and evolving product set
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Exceptional ability to manage time, priorities, and internal expectations
- Exceptional work ethic and a desire to succeed
- Ability to travel to clients frequently
- Ability to leverage AI as a tool to drive efficiency
