About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a Blue Yonder WMS solution expert for transformational projects and programs
Contribute to solution architecture, project planning, and change management for global or regional implementations
Lead customer communications and facilitate business process mapping and process discussions
Advise customers on industry best practices and process methodology
Assess business needs, integration complexity, and architecture constraints
Conduct business process analysis and design/construction phases leading to functional specifications
Design and develop functional specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports, and screens
Lead preparation of product requirement specifications and modification test plans
Collaborate with Development Services on modification development, quality delivery, and customer demonstrations
Create and maintain procedural and system documentation
Support development and execution of test scripts
Provide level 3 non-technical support during go-live/hypercare and level 3 user support thereafter
Conduct functional analysis sessions with clients and project teams to develop technical solutions
Provide functional support including quality assurance/design review, environment setup, software installation, configuration, report and label generation, operations consulting, troubleshooting, system testing, and programming
Deliver product implementation and related integration services
Work as a senior consulting team member on implementations, enhancements, managed services, integrations, and custom projects at customer sites or offshore
Design and develop platform workflows/user interfaces, integration scripts, ETL mappings, data models, and data loading
Provide internal training and implementation support, and work on internal development projects
Ensure knowledge transfer to key customer project teams
Communicate customer business cases and product needs to Product Management and Product Development
Liaise with Product Management and Product Development regarding releases and new functionality
Provide guidance to Support Services on base technical issues
Ensure issues are resolved with appropriate parties
Maintain practice aids, databases, and best-practice collateral
Comply with company project methodology and time, travel, and expense procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ Years of corporate experience
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant discipline
Expertise in technical configuration of WMS product, Solution Integration, Quality Assurance, System Testing, PLSQL, SQL Server, and Performance Tuning
Hands-on experience with technical configuration of WMS product, preferably Blue Yonder/RedPrairie WMS, Jasper reports, Nice labels, Pagebuilder and MOCA
Knowledge of interfaces between WMS and ERP/Host, TMS, WLM, T&T, Parcel, and third-party systems integrating with WMS
Knowledge of integration between WMS and Voice, Material Handling, and ASRS systems
Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance
In-depth knowledge of operating systems, client/server technology, ERP systems, integration and middleware technologies and applications
Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and consultants
Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels and respond to specialized technical questions
Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently, effectively, and proactively
Teamwork mentality
Knowledge of Azure fundamentals
Understanding and experience with technical requirements for the assigned product line
Understanding of database structures and various technical platforms and infrastructures
