Key responsibilities & impact

Select, build, and optimize classifiers using advanced machine learning techniques
Conduct data mining using cutting-edge methods and tools
Integrate third-party data sources to enhance company datasets
Refine data collection procedures for analytic systems
Process, cleanse, and verify data integrity for analysis
Perform ad-hoc analysis and present results to stakeholders
Address customer concerns regarding forecasting issues and data quality
Write code to perform forecasting checks
Build custom scripts and logic using advanced ML and AI techniques to solve business problems
Work hands-on with the broader engineering team through development and deployment cycles
Implement industry best practices across platform and product teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, including Linear Regression, K-Means Clustering, and Naive Bayes
Proficiency in at least two of Python, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and Seaborn
Experience in LLM, NLP techniques, and neural networks
Experience in supply chain concepts and statistical analysis
Knowledge of integer, linear, and stochastic programming
Familiarity with Streamlit and Power BI
Proficiency in SQL and Snowflake, or Python-based SQL wrappers
Applied statistics knowledge, including distributions, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis
Preferred: familiarity with Dask/parallel processing, Airflow, Postman/API integration
Strong scripting and programming capabilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines
Experience managing multiple stakeholders in a global environment
Strong multitasking skills
Self-motivated and quick learner
Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Ability to work independently while maintaining team synergy

5 to 8 years of relevant experience
Experience with Unix-RHEL, Windows 2008R2 and above, Oracle 11g and above, SQL/PLSQL 2012 and above, Snowflake, Cognos, SFTP, AS2, DMS, Blue Yonder Connect, Perl, Shell, and Python
