Key responsibilities & impact

Implement and deliver Blue Yonder WMS solutions configured to facilitate customer business and technical processes
Analyze problems from various angles, identify root causes, and resolve complex issues
Serve as a technical liaison in meetings with Project Managers, Solution Architects, customer contacts, users, and executive project sponsors
Conduct knowledge transfer with key customer project teams
Communicate customer-specific business cases and product functionality or enhancement needs to PMG and Product Development
Liaise with Product Management Group and Product Development regarding releases and new functionality
Work with the Operate team to stabilize customers post-go-live and pursue value realization
Conduct functional analysis sessions with clients and project teams and develop functional solutions
Provide functional support including quality assurance/design review, environment setup, software installation, configuration, report and label generation, operations consulting, troubleshooting, system testing, and programming
Deliver product implementation and related integration services
Work as a senior consulting team member on implementations, enhancements, managed services, integrations, and custom projects at customer sites or offshore
Provide guidance to Support Services on base functional issues
Work with appropriate parties to ensure issues are resolved
Develop and maintain practice aids, databases, and best-practice collateral

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-10 Years of corporate experience
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant discipline
Expertise in functional configuration of WMS product, Technical Integration, Quality Assurance, System Testing and Performance Tuning
Hands-on Experience on Technical configuration of WMS product (preferably JDA/RedPrairie WMS)
Knowledge on interfaces between WMS and ERP/Host, TMS, WLM, T&T, Parcel, 3rd party system that integrates with WMS
Knowledge on integration between WMS and Voice / Material Handling / ASRS systems
In depth knowledge of resolving issues through Trace files
Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance
Excellent computer skills with in-depth knowledge of operating systems, client/server technology, ERP systems, Integration and Middleware technologies and applications
Ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with customers, partners and consultants
Strong proactive communicator and presenter, able to influence and collaborate at all levels of an organization to maximize problem resolution while effectively presenting information and responding to highly specialized functional questions
Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently effectively and proactively
Teamwork mentality
Contributes to the growth of the functional consulting practice by developing and maintaining practice aids, databases, best-practice collateral
Ensures compliance with the following internal and external company policies and procedures: Company project methodology; on-time submission of Time, Travel and Expenses report; Company procedures related to travel and expenses
Skill set and availability requirements as per the organization's needs
Knowledge in performance tuning techniques is added advantage
Understanding and experience with the functional requirements for the product line assigned
Understanding of Database structures
Understanding of various functional platforms and infrastructures
Understands Blue Yonder product suite so as to convey relationships and touch-points to the customer
Travel readiness based on business needs
