About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct discovery sessions with customers
Analyze customer requirements and document Software Requirements Specifications
Produce design documents and participate in design reviews
Create project plans
Write code, unit tests, and build/deployment scripts minimally
Guide and mentor a team of developers
Participate in code reviews
Review test strategies
Monitor and manage project execution
Execute performance/scalability tests and profile hotspots
Lead solution implementation
Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders, including product management, program management, functional analysts, development, and QA

Requirements

What you’ll need

US citizens ONLY
BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or Supply Chain
Minimum 10 years of experience in writing software
Strong analytical problem-solving skills
Knowledge of data modeling techniques and best practices, including Domain Driven Design
Experience delivering projects using Agile methodology, specifically Scrum or SAFE
Experience building and deploying applications in cloud-based environments including AWS, MS Azure, or Oracle OCI
Strong Object-Oriented Programming skills
Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
Extensive knowledge of Java
Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle
Ability to write SQL queries
Experience with enterprise integration patterns and protocols such as REST, EDI, and SOAP
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Systems implementation skills including requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, and support
Travel required, up to 25% each month
