About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage Procurement Solution implementation projects from kick-off through software and pricing/contract configuration, go-live, and training
- Configure and validate data, system outcomes, workflows, and wholesaler/purchasing data feeds
- Serve as the main customer point of contact before go-live
- Manage multiple implementation projects across customers with different priorities, purchasing structures, and deadlines
- Advise purchasing and pharmacy teams on pharmacy cost-savings optimization, 340B compliance, and GPO/contract alignment
- Train stakeholders on CostCheck savings methodology and savings-vs-cap performance
- Train stakeholders on 340BCheck compliance and audit workflows
- Train stakeholders on ShortageCheck use and medication tracking
- Liaise between customers, wholesalers/GPOs, and internal Clinical, Product, and Development teams
- Maintain project plans, tickets, and documentation
- Serve as a senior resource and help onboard and support other Implementation Specialists
- Travel to customer sites as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in business administration, pharmacy, healthcare management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of professional experience aligned to hospital pharmacy purchasing, buying, procurement, or pharmacy cost-savings optimization
- 2+ years of project management and/or client-facing experience, ideally implementation-related
- Familiarity with pharmacy cost savings programs, 340B program requirements, and GPOs preferred
- Experience in the healthcare industry, ideally hospital pharmacy or health-system purchasing
- Strong financial and data analysis skills
- Ability to adapt to change, think quickly, and work independently
- Team-player attitude and willingness to mentor less-senior teammates
- High attention to detail
- Ability to build trusting, communicative, results-oriented customer relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness and ability to travel within the US as needed
- CPhT credentials a strong plus
- ACE certification a strong plus
- Excel and SQL skills a plus
- Experience with EMRs/ADCs or purchasing/wholesaler platforms a plus
