About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review collateral for corporate lending transactions and requests to amend the respective standard templates
- Review supporting documentation for the issuance of letters of credit support
- Review supporting documentation for foreign exchange transactions
- Provide legal advice on corporate lending transactions, new agreements, capital markets transactions, and corporate law matters
- Keep standard corporate banking templates up to date in line with regulatory changes and market best practices
- Provide legal support to the corporate banking Products team
- Lead the review and execution of Confidentiality Agreements for the Company’s Financial Conglomerate
- Coordinate the creation of data rooms to support audits of capital markets transactions
- Review the completion of corporate documents and support related regulatory filings and registrations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in the financial markets, including drafting and reviewing contracts and legal opinions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet established deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) is a plus
