About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support dredging, coastal and marine engineering projects under experienced engineers and project managers
- Contribute to dredging and coastal projects for private and public sector clients
- Deliver projects to scope and within time, cost and quality requirements
- Contribute to dredging feasibility studies, conceptual designs, disposal placement methodologies, risk and operability assessments, production models and costings
- Apply engineering principles, procedures and methodologies
- Collaborate with coastal engineers, environmental scientists, GIS and approvals specialists
- Assist with data analysis and numerical modelling
- Build a professional network across Australia, the UK and Singapore
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Coastal Engineering, Marine Engineering or another relevant area of study
- Interest in dredging, coastal engineering, marine infrastructure or environmental management projects
- Basic understanding of coastal and marine environments and processes, including sediment transport, coastal dynamics and marine systems
- Exposure to GIS, CAD, MATLAB, or project management tools
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience within the engineering/consulting sector, including proposals and directly managing customers or external stakeholders
- Unrestricted and permanent work rights in Australia
- Recent or upcoming graduate
