About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own how the product portfolio is positioned, launched and sold
  • Turn complex AI and governance technology into clear, outcome-led stories for senior buyers
  • Equip commercial teams to win and drive adoption and growth across Enterprise and Mid-Market customers
  • Lead a small team comprising a Product Marketing Manager and a Product Marketing contractor
  • Implement and improve release and launch marketing frameworks
  • Plan and run launches for products, features, enhancements, software and advisory services
  • Partner with Product on roadmaps, beta programmes and customer research
  • Lead go-to-market messaging for products or services integrated through acquisition
  • Own positioning, messaging and value propositions across the product portfolio
  • Tailor messaging by ICP, segment, geography, vertical and persona
  • Write and approve product pages, launch announcements, sales narratives and in-product messages
  • Build and maintain a messaging house and style guide
  • Create sales enablement materials including pitch decks, demo narratives, battlecards, objection handling, product sheets and FAQs
  • Run product training for Sales and Customer Success and maintain enablement materials using Gong Enable
  • Own competitive intelligence and run win/loss analysis
  • Source proof points and customer stories
  • Drive feature adoption, retention and expansion through in-product and lifecycle marketing
  • Own product content on the website and test tactics such as interactive demos
  • Line manage, coach and develop the product marketing team
  • Build the function’s operating rhythm and shared backlog
  • Set and report on product marketing metrics including adoption, pipeline, bookings, win rate and launch performance
  • Represent product marketing in growth planning with the Director of Growth and senior Product and Commercial leaders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, including at least 4 years in dedicated product marketing, with a track record of measurable revenue impact
  • Experience managing or mentoring product marketers, or clear readiness to step into line management
  • Portfolio of launches across segments, geographies or verticals showing strategy and execution
  • Experience selling to senior buyers in long, multi-stakeholder Enterprise and Mid-Market sales cycles
  • Enablement work that measurably improved win rates, deal velocity or sales confidence
  • Ability to turn complex technology, including AI, into a sharp value proposition a board director understands in one read
  • Use of competitive intelligence and win/loss data to make decisions
  • Analytical ability to set metrics, read data and tie work to pipeline, revenue and adoption
  • Exceptional writing, with clear, precise and persuasive copy
  • Eye for quality across copy, layout and design
  • Meticulous attention to accurate claims, product names and typo-free deliverables
  • Strategic but hands-on working style
  • Strong operating discipline, planning, prioritisation, deadline management and stakeholder communication
  • Ability to work with Product, Sales, Customer Success and Marketing
  • Resilience and adaptability when priorities shift
  • Confident with HubSpot, Salesforce, Confluence, Jira and a website CMS
  • Familiarity with product analytics such as Pendo, reporting tools such as Power BI, and AI writing and research tools
