Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide continuous improvement strategies across Bob's end-to-end supply chain operations
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, increase productivity, enhance service, and establish scalable processes
Drive initiatives across Distribution Centers, transportation, logistics, replenishment, inventory, and delivery operations
Leverage operational expertise, data-driven insights, and continuous improvement methodologies to execute high-impact initiatives
Partner with cross-functional leaders and build organizational capabilities
Drive sustainable improvements supporting Bob's continued growth
Develop business cases, evaluate return on investment, measure productivity improvements, and validate cost savings and other financial benefits with Finance
Establish performance measures, benchmarks, targets, reporting processes, and accountability practices
Document current-state processes, develop future-state workflows, establish standard work, and implement sustainable operating practices across multiple locations
Identify opportunities to leverage technology, systems, automation, and reporting enhancements
Lead organizational change, build stakeholder alignment, overcome barriers, and drive adoption of new processes
Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams and continuous improvement capabilities
Communicate strategic recommendations, business results, and program updates to senior leadership
Prioritize initiatives, manage competing demands, anticipate risks, and deliver measurable improvements in productivity, capacity, quality, service, and cost performance
Collaborate across corporate and supply chain environments, with periodic travel to Distribution Centers and other operating locations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field
10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, industrial engineering, process excellence, or continuous improvement, including leadership of complex cross-functional initiatives
5+ years of program or project leadership experience, with demonstrated accountability for implementation, operational adoption, and measurable business results
Demonstrated experience applying continuous improvement methodologies within complex supply chain or operational environments
Experience working across multiple supply chain functions, including Distribution Center operations, transportation, logistics, inventory management, replenishment, or delivery
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and process-mapping tools such as Visio
Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for employment with Bob's
Advanced expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, including Black Belt-level capabilities or comparable continuous improvement experience
Experience developing or leading a Supply Chain Center of Expertise, operational excellence function, or enterprise transformation initiative
Knowledge of labor management systems, engineered labor standards, facility design, material flow, simulation, and operational capacity planning
Experience identifying and implementing warehouse automation, process optimization technologies, and system enhancements
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP), and business intelligence tools
Advanced program management capabilities, including methodologies associated with Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience driving operational improvements within retail, furniture, consumer goods, distribution, final-mile delivery, or other complex, multi-site environments
