About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a Culture, Brand, and Customer Experience ambassador for the assigned region and across the company
Oversee a portfolio primarily made up of Third-Party Logistic (3PL) carriers
Support the market of stores indirectly through delivery operations
Act as liaison and subject matter expert across delivery operations
Collaborate with Store Operations, DC Operations, Inventory Control, and other cross-functional teams
Meet and exceed financial, operational, and customer experience targets
Manage and improve people and processes
Drive customer satisfaction across 200+ daily routes and $750M in delivered sales volume
Manage P&L, forecasting, cost optimization, revenue, and service outcomes
Lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver measurable results
Analyze complex problems and implement solutions improving routing efficiency, compliance, and depot performance
Build a positive, high-performance culture through transparent leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire teams across multiple sites
Strong track record in talent development, coaching, and accountability
7+ years of experience in transportation logistics management and retail multi-unit operations with continuous improvement achievements
Skilled in P&L management, forecasting, and cost optimization
Ability to align business objectives with operational execution and lead cross-functional initiatives
Strong record of analyzing complex problems and improving routing efficiency, compliance, and depot performance
Proficiency in SAP, routing software, WMS, and CX platforms
Strong communication skills with ability to influence at all levels of management
Conflict management and motivational leadership skills
Experience negotiating contracts and managing 3PL partnerships
Ability to manage a 50% travel schedule
Bachelor’s degree; or 15 years of equivalent experience in transportation logistics or retail multi-unit management
7+ years in logistics management with demonstrated continuous improvement
7+ years in multi-unit retail leadership
Ability to work a typical 50+ hour week and travel approximately 50%
Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, pull, and handle/move up to 50 lbs unassisted; up to 100 lbs with reasonable accommodation
