About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Independently lead and manage complex real estate projects
Assume technical and professional responsibility for new-build, modernization, change-of-use, and refurbishment projects
Act as the client’s external technical representative and represent the client’s interests throughout the project
Prepare scopes of services, bills of quantities, and contract terms
Coordinate contract and tender documentation with project stakeholders
Represent the client’s interests when dealing with designers, authorities, contractors, and other project stakeholders
Define and manage project objectives relating to cost, schedule, quality, and organization in collaboration with the project team
Manage and coordinate internal and external partners and other project stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in architecture, civil engineering, industrial engineering, project management, or a comparable field
At least five years of relevant professional experience in project management/project controls, construction planning, or construction supervision for building construction projects
Strong knowledge of construction technology and architectural matters
Knowledge of cost, schedule, and quality management
Experience conducting tendering and procurement procedures
Confident and professional manner when dealing with clients, designers, and contractors
Ability to reconcile different interests and maintain an overview in demanding project situations
Structured, independent, and precise working style
Willingness to take responsibility and work in interdisciplinary teams
Very good written and spoken German, at least C1 level
Very good IT skills, particularly in MS Office
Experience with industry-standard software for cost control and schedule planning
