About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own paid acquisition strategy and execution across paid channels, initially SEM and paid social
  • Expand into CTV, paid sponsorships, and new channels based on data
  • Own paid media budget allocation, pacing, and reallocation
  • Manage campaigns end to end: strategy, build, launch, optimization, analysis, and reporting
  • Optimize keywords, ad copy, campaign structure, and bid strategy
  • Establish testing across ad copy, creative formats, audiences, targeting, and landing pages
  • Partner with product and design to improve landing page and funnel conversion rates
  • Manage performance against CAC, LTV:CAC, CPA, and ROAS targets
  • Connect paid spend to registrations, trial starts, and new customer revenue
  • Analyze audience and placement data to identify opportunities and remove inefficient segments
  • Report weekly on paid performance and test results
  • Partner with data teams to ensure trustworthy attribution, tracking, and conversion measurement
  • Evaluate and manage agencies, vendors, and tools
  • Evolve the acquisition roadmap based on performance, seasonality, competition, and audience insights
  • Work directly with the Head of Growth and collaborate with data, product, lifecycle, and creative partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years in performance marketing or paid acquisition, with meaningful time in a consumer/B2C environment
  • Hands-on experience in Google Ads and paid social; Meta at minimum
  • Experience with Reddit, LinkedIn, YouTube, or TikTok is a plus
  • Track record of owning a paid budget of at least $1M annually and hitting efficiency targets
  • Strong analytical skills, including pulling numbers from BI or warehouse layers and building reporting
  • Working understanding of attribution, incrementality, and measurement limitations
  • Experience with subscription or freemium business models
  • Demonstrated CRO instincts and experience partnering on landing page and funnel testing
  • Clear written communication for explaining performance and tradeoffs to leadership
  • Comfortable operating in a small, fast-moving team and setting priorities
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
