About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collect, interpret, and identify trends in data
  • Develop standard and ad hoc data reports for quality reporting, performance improvement, and operational reporting
  • Examine historical and projected financial data to support financial decisions
  • Perform financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting
  • Manage financial relationships with vendors when applicable
  • Handle financial reclassifications, adjustments, Workday cost center questions, directly paid expenses, invoice reviews, and gain share savings validation
  • Assist with data imports and exports
  • Perform periodic audits of data sources
  • Maintain current knowledge of healthcare trends and operations
  • Support other teams and participate in assigned projects as a financial resource
  • Review and analyze financial statements and reports
  • Track KPIs and prepare financial reports
  • Assist with budgeting and monthly close processes
  • Understand key business drivers and provide clients with financial guidance
  • Develop financial projections and build financial models
  • Perform research and analysis
  • Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and regulations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or comparable discipline; or combination of post-secondary education and experience (required)
  • 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or accounting (required)
  • Experience with both capital and operating expense management (preferred)
  • Healthcare experience (preferred)
  • Data analysis and interpretation
