About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives
- Manage purchases and oversee process flow through applicable systems
- Conduct product research, cost analysis, and presentations of sourcing initiatives
- Develop and implement strategies and processes to reduce supply expense while maintaining quality of care
- Monitor, communicate, and improve assigned scope
- Collaborate with members, including physicians, to identify and formulate improvements and standardization for assigned categories
- Manage sourcing initiatives including scoping analysis, RFP development, proposal evaluations, negotiations, recommendation communications, contracting, ongoing supplier management, and budget oversight
- Monitor and report initiative and contract budgets; identify recurring trends and vendor or internal improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with legal to negotiate valuable contracts
- Build strategic alliances with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders to execute the organization’s purchasing strategy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Analytics, or Healthcare required; Roper only: Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree
