About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take end-to-end ownership of the Asset Finance product domain
- Lead product strategy, commercial performance, portfolio outcomes and customer experience across the lifecycle
- Drive portfolio growth, margin performance, portfolio health and customer lifecycle improvement
- Bring together product strategy, portfolio management, transformation and market insight
- Balance commercial performance, risk and long-term strategic priorities
- Lead a small team of product specialists
- Influence senior stakeholders and challenge established thinking
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, customer needs and industry developments
- Shape strategy, product evolution and future investment priorities
- Lead transformation initiatives and drive customer and process improvements
- Report to the Business Bank Product Domain Owner
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced banking or financial services leader
- Strong background in product management, portfolio ownership and strategic leadership
- Experience in commercial lending, asset finance or a related product discipline
- Experience leading products or portfolios involving growth, profitability, risk management and customer outcomes
- Commercial acumen and strategic curiosity
- Ability to own complex product and portfolio decisions and manage trade-offs
- Exceptional influencing skills with executive leaders and multiple stakeholder groups
- Experience leading transformation initiatives and driving customer and process improvements
- Ability to navigate ambiguity while maintaining focus on outcomes
- Strong commercial judgement
- Sound risk management capability
