About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Process and submit customs entries accurately and in a timely manner
  • Review documentation for completeness and compliance with US Customs regulations
  • Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers to resolve issues and facilitate timely shipment clearance
  • Maintain up-to-date records in internal systems and client databases
  • Help identify process improvements to manage volume efficiently
  • Provide administrative support and assist with additional operational tasks as needed
  • Coordinate and file required documentation for Partner Government Agencies, including the FDA, to ensure regulatory compliance and timely clearance
  • Work within a 24/7/365 business operation and work additional hours or overtime as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of experience in customs brokerage, logistics, or ecommerce operations (preferred)
  • Familiarity with US Customs procedures and entry types, including Section 321, informal, and formal entries
  • Strong attention to detail and high data accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines in a remote setting
  • Comfortable using brokerage or logistics platforms and Excel/Google Sheets
  • Proficiency in English is required
  • Knowledge of Spanish is considered an asset
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and reliability
  • Proficiency with computers and software
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, and eager to learn
  • Must be a team player
  • Candidates must reside and work from within the United States
