About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the assigned critical infrastructure vertical as the primary sales subject-matter expert and growth leader
  • Set and execute vertical market messaging and strategy
  • Participate in industry associations, speaking engagements, publications, events, and trade shows
  • Communicate IQSIGHT's value proposition using vertical-specific customer language and convey customer needs internally
  • Identify and prioritize key target accounts and assign them to Territory Sales Managers
  • Drive opportunity execution and accountability through regular Blue Sheet updates
  • Follow up on target progression to advance opportunities through the sales process
  • Engage directly in large, complex, or strategically critical opportunities, including end-user meetings
  • Partner with Regional Directors to support Territory Sales Manager execution and remove deal-progression barriers
  • Build and expand relationships with end users, integrators, consultants, and distributors
  • Train and enable sellers on vertical-specific use cases, buyer language, and market nuances

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Expert-level technical and commercial subject matter expertise and extensive industry contacts in critical infrastructure (power, energy, and utilities)
  • High school diploma required
  • 3 years of security industry (IP video) experience, preferably at the manufacturer level
  • Experience working with customers
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively in the US and Canada (70%+ of time)
  • Working knowledge and experience in designing and installing IP/IT-based video and security products
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Indefinite U.S. work authorization required; future sponsorship unavailable
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in a technical field, marketing, management, or related field preferred
  • Industry certification is a plus
