About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Paint interior and exterior surfaces as directed
Inspect the facility and notify management of major repairs, safety hazards, and lighting, heating, ventilation, or structural issues
Operate power washers, lawn mowers, trimmers, snow blowers, and related tools
Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and appearance of grounds, parking lots, sidewalks, fuel islands, trash areas, and landscaping
Complete assigned daily/shift worklists and submit documentation to the General Manager
Ensure cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked, labeled, and stored according to company and OSHA standards
Follow company safety procedures, including proper PPE use and safe operation of tools and equipment
Provide friendly customer service when interacting with customers or assisting store staff
Assist with snow removal, ice melt application, and seasonal outdoor tasks
Support store staff with light indoor maintenance tasks as needed
Perform other duties assigned by management
No supervisory responsibilities

Requirements

What you’ll need

General maintenance, groundskeeping, custodial, or facility upkeep experience preferred
Experience using power tools, lawn equipment, or maintenance equipment is helpful
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable to drive company or personal vehicles for work tasks
Must possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude and strong work ethic
Must be adaptable and able to adjust to changing priorities or weather conditions
Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Must be well-groomed and properly attired according to company standards
Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and varied shifts as needed
Must have reliable transportation and a working phone
Must be able to communicate in English (if applicable)
Able and willing to provide friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service
Able to work cooperatively with other team members and management
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 lbs.
Must be able to stand for long periods, frequently walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear; occasionally sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Physical attendance at the primary work location is required
