About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Align technology solutions with business strategies
- Identify opportunities to apply technology to business processes
- Inform and advise customers on information system functionality, costs, benefits, and implementation requirements
- Serve as technical liaison and broker of services with vendors
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with customer management and IT personnel
- Understand business problems, IT strategies, issues, and priorities
- Apply technology to improve business processes within strategic system goals
- Plan and implement multiple projects in a cross-functional environment
- Organize, plan, and execute projects from vision through implementation involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors
- Travel onsite for important meetings, go-live readiness assessments, and Beaker go-live
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of formal education and experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- At least 2+ years of relevant experience in business systems analysis or business unit experience working closely with IT on system development and implementation
- Knowledge of the assigned business area's products and processes
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to explain complex technical concepts to business stakeholders
- Understanding of project management concepts in a cross-functional environment
- Strong written communication, including project documentation and technical writing
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Ability to solve problems across multiple environments
- Ability to connect IT impacts to redesigned business processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Epic's Beaker AP certification preferred
- Experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement desirable
- Experience in strategic use of technology in managing and growing a business
- Experience organizing, planning, and executing projects from vision through implementation
- HL7 knowledge is a plus
