About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support and lead activities across the M&A lifecycle, including due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition transformation
  • Assess acquisition opportunities and identify value creation opportunities, operational impacts, and business risks
  • Partner with leaders and teams to compose future operating models, organisational structures, and integration plans
  • Facilitate workshops and collaborative discussions to tackle business challenges and support decision-making
  • Align cultures, behaviours, and ways of working while supporting employees through change
  • Develop engagement and communication plans that keep employees advised, involved, and motivated
  • Identify leadership strengths, key talent, and organisational capability needs within acquired businesses
  • Analyse business, workforce, and financial data to support recommendations and integration decisions
  • Manage organisational change activities and help teams adapt to new structures and processes
  • Work across multiple business functions to achieve integration objectives and deliver measurable outcomes
  • Contribute ideas and insights supporting BP's long-term growth and transformation ambitions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions, strategy consulting, organisational consulting, business transformation, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to turn complex information into clear recommendations
  • Experience supporting organisational change, large-scale transformation, or integration programmes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence working with people at all levels of an organisation
  • Experience facilitating workshops, meetings, and group decision-making sessions
  • Knowledge of culture change, employee engagement, or organisational effectiveness programmes
  • Ability to influence outcomes through collaboration, credibility, and strong relationship-building skills
  • Sound judgement when handling sensitive people and organisational matters
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, financial modelling, and reporting
  • Adaptable and proactive approach, with ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience within a large multinational organisation or consulting environment is advantageous
  • Up to 10% travel should be expected with this role
  • Depending upon the role, employment may be contingent upon adherence to local policy, including pre-placement drug screening, medical review of physical fitness, and background checks
