About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure consistent execution of company standards across multiple locations within an assigned area
  • Support operational excellence, compliance, customer satisfaction, profitability, and brand reputation initiatives
  • Partner with Group Managers on staffing targets, recruiting, training completion, coaching, mentoring, accountability, and professional growth
  • Monitor KPIs, identify performance opportunities and root causes, develop remediation action plans, and lead Return to Green meetings
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, corrective action planning, Value Stream Maps, and Kaizen Events
  • Support project implementation, release, stabilization, sustainment, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure consistent execution of company programs, policies, and procedures across all locations
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor compliance, safety, and service quality
  • Monitor competitive practices, market conditions, and automation opportunities
  • Support regional budget goals; monitor inventory, pricing compliance, and expenses
  • Complete required reports and financial documentation accurately and timely
  • Champion customer-first service and clean, safe environments
  • Analyze customer feedback and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
  • Ensure adherence to regulations and safety protocols; safeguard assets, equipment, and inventory
  • Travel regularly to indoor and outdoor service locations across all seasons

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience in commercial vehicle repair, service management, or a related industry
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in truck service, fleet maintenance, or a related industry
  • Proven success managing multi-site operations and leading large teams
  • Experience managing budgets, P&L, and operational KPIs
  • Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis tools and Problem Solving techniques
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Operational understanding of POS software
  • Travel requirement is approximately 50–75%; up to 75% travel should be expected
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, safety protocols, loss prevention, and audit policies
  • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, navigate shop environments, and lift or move objects up to 50 lbs. on rare occasions
