About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the West Texas region as Associate Director
- Oversee regional operational, client, technical, and personnel goals
- Oversee decisions affecting regional personnel, facilities, office engagement, and local marketing
- Monitor financial performance, activities, costs, and operational efficiency
- Ensure efficient resource use, cost structure, and service delivery; develop and execute continuous-improvement plans
- Develop and pursue regional goals for revenue, operating cash, hiring, business development, client selection, project delivery, safety, and client service
- Evaluate employee performance and establish technical, project-management, and client-service development goals
- Manage personnel mix, including recruiting, hiring, and terminations
- Set direction for client pursuits and marketing goals with unit managers, leaders, and marketing staff
- Direct client contracting according to Braun Intertec’s Authority Grant Policy
- Monitor project-management skills related to project financial performance and client retention
- Encourage cross-functional, multidisciplinary work teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Candidates must be local or willing to relocate to Lubbock, Amarillo, or Wichita Falls
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; and ten+ years related industry experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Texas Professional Engineer Registration is required
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports and legal documents
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
- Proven ability to manage success and conflict amongst teams and individual personnel
- Ability to understand Braun Intertec’s internal systems and practices, and ability to train, manage, and adhere to them
- Proven ability to lead small or large groups effectively through a service/servant leadership style
