About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own core tools and processes end-to-end and ensure operational readiness before launch of Braven’s career-readiness, credit-bearing Accelerator course
  • Set domain strategy by designing systems one to two semesters in advance
  • Manage rollout plans, train regional teammates, and hold readiness gate authority
  • Oversee one to three operational domains across academic operations, program delivery operations, student experience and compliance, or operational systems and knowledge management
  • Serve as product owner for domain tools, processes, and protocols
  • Consider opportunities to use AI to improve workflow efficiency and effectiveness
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate roadmap decisions into operational builds
  • Roll out tools and processes with adoption plans, site support contacts, and post-launch check-ins
  • Train and enable site execution teams through documentation, training, and wraparound support
  • Track adoption against an 80% fidelity standard and address adoption barriers
  • Define launch readiness criteria, assess readiness, and make rollout recommendations
  • Surface operational risks, drive high-stakes issues to resolution, and document risk classification and mitigation
  • Gather qualitative and quantitative data through audits, QA checks, user feedback, and adoption and fidelity data
  • Pressure-test systems for scalability and identify improvement opportunities
  • Maintain current Standard Operating Procedures in Confluence

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 4-6 years of relevant professional experience in operations, program management, systems or data administration, or a closely related field
  • Experience owning a tool, system, or process end-to-end as a product owner designing it, launching it, and remaining accountable for outcomes
  • Demonstrated success driving adoption of a new tool or process across a distributed group of users, including training and change management
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent work streams with excellent personal organization and follow-through in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate processes and identify improvements
  • Comfort making and holding a defensible “not ready” call with evidence
  • Functional expertise in process and QA design, data integrity, and documentation
  • Fluency in workflow systems such as Jira, Salesforce, Asana, Claude, Gemini, and Slack
  • Fluency using AI tools to reduce manual work in operational workflows, or clear appetite to build that capability
  • Ability to solve moderately complex and ambiguous problems with a systems lens
  • Ability to lead laterally and influence peers and senior stakeholders across functions without direct authority
  • Demonstrated commitment to building strong and welcoming cultures that help develop others

  • Experience informing belief in Braven’s mission and preparing the candidate to work with or for Braven’s student Fellow population
  • Ability to work in-person in Atlanta, Chicago, New York City, or Newark 3 days per week
  • Access to internet
  • Availability for occasional evening and weekend support, approximately 10 times per year
  • Availability for occasional travel, approximately 2-3 weeks per year
