About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a portfolio of 45 high-stakes relationships and prospects with national business and finance industry partners
  • Drive annual revenue goals of $3.5-$4M+
  • Recruit 650+ volunteer mentors and coaches from the business and finance portfolio
  • Collaborate on 10+ student-facing events annually
  • Provide customer service to executive sponsors and frontline stakeholders
  • Use data and strategic storytelling to build and deepen partner relationships
  • Develop and refine internal engagement strategy memos for portfolio partners
  • Research potential partners and develop cultivation plans
  • Cultivate new partnerships, craft pitches, negotiate strategic agreements, and renew existing partnerships
  • Engage Braven’s CEO, Head of Employer Partnerships, and Executive Directors across 8 regions to advance partnerships
  • Use data and trends to improve partnership frameworks, prospecting strategy, and cultivation approaches
  • Collaborate across departments and with subject-matter experts on shared-value relationships
  • Manage partnership pipeline tracking, prospect research, and national events
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5-7 years of experience managing partnerships with a track record of achieving ambitious outcomes
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience as an account manager or leading corporate partnerships for a nonprofit
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Systems thinking and ability to involve key stakeholders strategically
  • Strategic thinking, storytelling, and organizational skills
  • Ability to plan 2-3 months ahead, create timelines and meeting agendas, and keep stakeholders informed
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with written content and data analysis
  • Proactive, curious, resourceful, creative, strategic, and problem-solving mindset
  • Receptive to constructive feedback and committed to professional growth
  • Demonstrated commitment to building strong and welcoming cultures and developing others
  • Exemplification of Braven’s core values
  • Experience informing belief in Braven’s mission and preparing the candidate to work with Braven’s student Fellow population
  • Ability to work in-person in Atlanta, Chicago, Newark, or New York City
  • Ability to travel out of state 6-12 times annually for team retreats, events, and meetings
  • Ability to work approximately 10-15 nights and/or weekends per year for Braven events
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
