About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Shape a shared vision for BravenX with the Chief Regional Success & Innovation Officer and key stakeholders
  • Own BravenX program implementation and performance across recruitment, course experience, and post-course supports
  • Lead BravenX-owned programming and jobs campaign data collection
  • Partner with Product and Central Accelerator teams on centrally owned elements, supports, and interventions
  • Monitor fit and satisfaction of Communications and Development delivery and provide actionable feedback
  • Own the end-to-end BravenX partnership and sales cycle
  • Source and qualify prospects and lead external BravenX pitch presentations
  • Secure nonprofit partner relationships and generate partnership revenue
  • Manage and deepen existing partnerships, ensuring satisfaction, retention, renewal, and growth
  • Lead partner acquisition deliverables and maintain accurate contract, grant, and internal documentation
  • Build standard operating procedures and tracking systems, including effective use of Salesforce
  • Serve as primary relationship owner for BravenX partners throughout the Accelerator and Post Accelerator experience
  • Represent Braven externally at conferences and events as needed
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team of full-time employees
  • Coach team members, provide feedback, create development plans, conduct performance reviews, and support learning
  • Own BravenX budgeting and forecasting and adjust resource allocation for financial sustainability
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard talent as needed
  • Contribute to organization-wide strategy and decision-making
  • Lead team planning, stepbacks, and retreats
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 7 years of related experience with a record of successful outcomes
  • At least 4 years of experience managing and coaching others
  • Advanced application of qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Data-driven decision-making and ability to assemble and leverage data to build strategy
  • Significant experience in sales, business development, revenue-generating partnerships, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven track record of building and managing strong external partnerships (preferred)
  • Strong public speaking and writing skills (preferred)
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and organizational skills (preferred)
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams (preferred)
  • Ability to work in-person in Chicago, Illinois or New York City, New York
  • Ability to travel 1–2 times per quarter across Braven’s markets and, in some cases, to key nonprofit partners
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Braven does not offer employment visa sponsorship
