About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive brand presence and increase sales for BBG brands through creative and impactful in-store/market events
  • Attend targeted promotions in the field to drive consumer engagement and build relationships with consumers and brands
  • Distribute samples to customers during promotional events
  • Achieve sell-through from new distribution and select items by identifying selling opportunities with account staff
  • Complete required surveys and track bottles sold per hour during events
  • Educate clients, account staff, and other Promotion Associates on assigned labels
  • Monitor current inventory and out-of-stock situations and alert the National Account Manager to possible fluctuations
  • Maintain account standards and use effective point-of-sale materials to maximize brand visibility
  • Collaborate with chain staff, distributors, suppliers, and other personnel to increase brand sales and ensure successful promotional events
  • Deliver exceptional customer care according to account standards and guidance
  • Complete required training programs, tests, and other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
  • Results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
  • Sound judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
  • Must be 21 years old or older
  • An understanding of wine, beer and spirits is required
  • Experience in the on/off premise wine sales/service environment is highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience preferred
  • Strong accounting, technical, customer service and interpersonal expertise preferred
