About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and scale infrastructure running audits on clinical notes across millions of criteria daily
Define and support infrastructure patterns to improve latency, reliability, and cost effectiveness
Improve developer productivity through CI/CD and local/testing environments
Simplify observability and drive reliability metrics across services and AI pipelines processing billions of tokens daily
Manage infrastructure and developer tooling spend
Steward security posture, including SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance
Consolidate SSO, identity, device management, and access controls across internal tools
Set the platform function’s roadmap in collaboration with engineering leadership
Report directly to the VP of Engineering

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years where platform was your primary work
Built production infrastructure at an early-stage startup
Depth in AWS and infrastructure-as-code
Production-level coding experience in Python and Typescript
Experience driving toward a target cloud bill
Experience managing audits for software compliance, such as SOC 2
Experience owning an infrastructure/platform function
Understanding of product engineering work
Experience working with high autonomy
Healthcare or another regulated-industry experience is nice to have
Experience with LLM infrastructure, including inference cost management, gateways, tracing, and evals, is nice to have
Experience rolling out an identity provider such as Okta is nice to have
Experience mentoring engineers or leading a small team is nice to have
