About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the CEO's calendar end to end, including scheduling, prioritization, conflict resolution, and rescheduling
- Control access to the CEO's time and decide what requires meetings, asynchronous resolution, or redirection
- Protect uninterrupted strategic-work blocks
- Triage inbound requests and escalate genuinely urgent matters
- Prepare daily briefs, agendas, and pre-reads
- Serve as the operating link between the CEO and Brello leadership across clinical operations, marketing, growth, and customer experience
- Track cross-functional commitments and requests
- Act as a discreet point of contact for internal teams, vendors, and external partners
- Build relationships with assistants and operators supporting other leaders
- Represent the CEO in selected internal and external meetings
- Capture decisions, commitments, and follow-ups and brief the CEO
- Serve as a trusted sounding board and resolve issues independently when appropriate
- Run leadership-team operating rhythms, including agendas, notes, action items, and owners
- Chase commitments to completion
- Maintain project trackers, documentation, and status views
- Support OKR tracking and quarterly planning
- Prepare board materials, investor updates, and corporate reporting
- Coordinate with finance, HR, legal, and People Ops
- Maintain records of decisions, approvals, and open items
- Assist with vendor research, tooling evaluations, and renewal calendars
- Plan and book travel, accommodations, itineraries, and expense reporting
- Coordinate company events, town halls, and all-hands meetings end to end
- Take on ad hoc special projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years supporting a C-level or senior executive; exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered
- Experience ideally in healthcare, consumer, or a high-growth startup
- Track record of operating independently rather than task by task
- Extensive exposure to executive-level decision-making
- Business acumen and confidence to offer the CEO an informed point of view
- Credibility and presence to represent a CEO with senior leaders, partners, and vendors
- Comfort managing access to a senior leader, including declining and redirecting requests without escalation
- Experience working autonomously in a fast-moving, brand-driven organization
- Proven experience planning and coordinating events and town halls
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
- Outstanding organizational discipline, attention to detail, and follow-through under shifting priorities
- High emotional intelligence and sound judgment
- Proven record of handling highly confidential business, commercial, and personnel information with absolute discretion
- Advanced-level proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, trackers, and reports
- Fluency with Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and modern project management tools
- Hands-on daily use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini
- Enhanced confidentiality obligations and background screening
