About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support customers throughout their application process
  • Make and take inbound and outbound customer calls
  • Respond to general customer enquiries
  • Assist with account enquiries and updates
  • Record accurate customer information in the CRM
  • Process payments and document payment arrangements
  • Assist with basic application or IT-related troubleshooting
  • Support requests relating to withdrawals and cancellations
  • Work towards agreed customer service targets and service levels
  • Collaborate with local Customer Support Officers and overseas team members

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A recently completed or nearly completed tertiary qualification
  • Some customer service experience, gained through hospitality, retail, contact centre work or a similar environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence speaking with different types of people
  • Empathy, patience and the ability to stay calm in challenging situations
  • A proactive and positive approach to learning
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
  • The ability to follow processes and work towards targets
  • Basic problem-solving skills and confidence using technology
  • Ability to complete reference and background checks, including police, anti-money laundering, and bankruptcy checks
  • Willingness to complete an AI-use assessment during the hiring process
