About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare, analyze, and distribute recurring financial reports, dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting packages
Analyze financial and operational results to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities
Provide meaningful insights and recommendations to leadership
Partner with Finance, Sales & Marketing, Operations, IT, and other business functions on forecast assumptions, drivers, and variances
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close reporting through variance analysis and management commentary
Maintain and leverage financial accounting and reporting systems
Assist with ad hoc financial analyses, executive presentations, and strategic initiatives
Improve financial reporting, month-end close, and analytical capabilities through process enhancements and automation
Build collaborative relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to support informed business decisions
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field required
3+ years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, financial reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or a related analytical finance role
Strong understanding of financial statements, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis
Experience with accounting and reporting systems such as SAP, Hyperion/Essbase, or similar ERP platforms
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to interpret complex financial information and translate it into actionable business insights
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to present financial information to finance and non-finance audiences
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work in a primarily office-based hybrid or corporate office environment
Preferred: Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration (MBA), or related field
Preferred: CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification
Preferred: Experience in telecommunications, technology, or infrastructure industry
Preferred: Experience supporting enterprise planning, executive reporting, or management reporting functions
Preferred: Knowledge of business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
