About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the evolution, articulation, and internal adoption of Brightspeed’s comprehensive brand strategy for flagship fiber and legacy DSL products
  • Serve as primary brand steward across channels and customer experiences
  • Own and evolve the brand identity system, including visual expression, tone of voice, brand narrative, and guidelines
  • Oversee brand governance and educate internal teams on brand standards
  • Develop and maintain brand positioning and messaging frameworks
  • Ensure consistent messaging across paid media, CRM, e-commerce, local marketing, PR, and internal communications
  • Guide brand campaigns and brand storytelling across marketing channels and the customer journey
  • Collaborate with product, go-to-market, sales, and marketing leaders on launches, customer experiences, and commercial initiatives
  • Define and monitor brand performance metrics, including awareness, consideration, perception, engagement, and reputation
  • Identify trends and opportunities and provide recommendations to leadership
  • Oversee external brand, creative, and social media agencies
  • Lead and develop a team of brand and social media professionals
  • Establish team priorities, workflows, and professional development opportunities
  • Oversee organic social media strategy, content strategy, and channel prioritization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience in brand strategy, brand management, or integrated marketing
  • Significant portion of experience in a strategic leadership role
  • 3–5+ years of people leadership experience
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing marketing or brand teams
  • Experience developing and evolving enterprise brand strategies
  • Experience with brand positioning, identity systems, and messaging architecture
  • Ability to translate business objectives into brand strategy that drives measurable growth and customer engagement
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders across marketing, product, sales, and executive leadership
  • Strong background in brand campaign strategy and integrated marketing
  • Experience with consistent storytelling across paid, owned, and earned channels
  • Experience overseeing organic social media strategy and brand voice across multiple platforms
  • Experience managing agencies and external partners
  • Strong analytical capabilities with brand health metrics, awareness studies, and brand performance data
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus
