About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage all back-end administrative, fiscal, and data management functions of the Program Operations team.
- Optimize payment processing, tracking, and reporting.
- Streamline workflows and establish practices supporting the scaling of homeless services programs statewide.
- Collaborate with Tenancy Supports, Housing Acquisitions, Data & Technology, Finance, and Administrative staff.
- Oversee teams responsible for Billing/Accounts Receivables, Unit Close-outs, and Data Management.
- Manage and provide professional development opportunities to Operations Supervisors.
- Support Operations Supervisors managing approximately 20 support staff.
- Improve workflows for rent collection, unit closeouts, and recertifications.
- Standardize payment processing, program reporting, invoicing, rent roll integration, automations, and process improvements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least one year building and managing a team.
- 2+ years in the supportive housing field or a similar social justice field.
- Experience developing systems to improve operations for a social service program.
- Demonstrated management and team-building experience.
- Ability to clearly articulate program goals and develop tools and metrics for staff to achieve those goals.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, communication, and planning skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently and simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively on projects and under pressure.
- Ability to deliver culturally responsive services and work effectively in cross-cultural situations.
- Ability to utilize critical thinking skills in decision-making and good independent judgement.
- Physical mobility for standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, twisting, and walking on uneven surfaces.
- Ability to sit for up to 6 to 8 hours a day.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate weights up to 15 pounds safely.
- Mental acuity for analytical reasoning and document interpretation.
