About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy
- Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
- Monitor and optimize AWS cloud systems for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency using CloudWatch and CloudTrail
- Troubleshoot AWS deployment and infrastructure issues to ensure rapid resolution and minimal downtime
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline build and release processes
- Configure and manage secure application environments across multiple AWS accounts while ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Integrate automated testing and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines
- Document architecture, workflows, and operational procedures for knowledge sharing and onboarding
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 4 years of hands-on AWS DevOps experience, including up to 6 years working with cloud automation and deployment tools
- Required skills: AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodeDeploy, AWS CodePipeline, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS IAM, AWS VPC, AWS networking, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Python, Bash, PowerShell
- Preferred skills: Docker, Amazon ECS, AWS Lambda, serverless architectures, Ansible, Chef, GitOps
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering is a desired qualification
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification is preferred/desired
- Terraform certification or equivalent infrastructure as code credential is a desired qualification
